GreenCrab.org was founded in 2020 with the mission of developing culinary markets for green crabs and spreading awareness of their invasive impact.
Our work includes harvester education, supply-chain development, outreach, recipe development, and events-based programming. We partner with chefs, wholesalers, harvesters, researchers, teachers, and policymakers to bring the green crab problem onto plates and we’re currently seeking people in diverse industries to join our board!
Experience working with green crabs is not required and individuals at all levels and age ranges (18+) are encouraged to apply. This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of 1-3 hours each month and quarterly meetings. You can also nominate somebody who you think would be a great fit for our organization!
